The UK government has declared a new plan to ease the 2021 covid19 lockdown restrictions starting 8th march 2021. Among the areas to be eased on Step One A of the lockdown ease plan are the care home residents that will be allowed to get one visitor at a time from the 8th March 2021. The 4 step plan comes after some registered success of the country-wide mass vaccination drive that was launched in mid-December, aiming to cover 100% of the citizens by June 21st with an estimate of 400,000 people vaccinated per day across the Country. The vaccine program has entered its second phase after everyone in the first four priority groups - those aged 70 and over, care home residents, healthcare workers, and people required to shield - were offered a jab by mid-February. The rollout is now being expanded to include those aged 60 and above and those deemed clinically vulnerable....
